Perfectly and purposefully timed with Nassau County’s yearlong Bicentennial celebrations, All Together is collaborating with County staff, community leaders, residents, businesses, and many other stakeholders to help shape the vision. This planning process and the resulting policies will promote and manage growth, protect and enhance key areas of importance, help the County to accommodate future trends, and provide the necessary baseline for an update to the County’s Comprehensive Plan.
From the barns to the beaches, this countywide visioning initiative includes engagement to hear everyone’s voice—
a kick-off celebration with pirates, live bands, a chili cook-off, and hundreds of people
16 community pop-ups and counting to meet people where they are at
an ambassador program to help community partners spread the word with their networks
short and accessible surveys for the community, youth and young adults, and visitors
and how could we not mention the colorful, Florida-inspired swag!
